State law requires open enrollment students to apply for open enrollment when wishing to attend another school district. If an eighth grade student is attending an elementary school through open enrollment, and does not live in the Lakeland Union High School District but wishes to attend Lakeland Union High School, the student must apply for open enrollment with Lakeland Union High School District.
The recommended method of applying for open enrollment is through the on-line application process. Click HERE The on-line application period is from midnight February 6, 2012, until 4:00 p.m. on February 26, 2012.
Although on-line application is recommended, paper applications may be obtained from the Department of Public Instruction or may be picked up at the Lac du Flambeau School District Office after February 3, 2012. Paper application forms must be submitted to Lac du Flambeau Public School District Office no earlier than February 6, 2012 and no later than 4:00 p.m. on February 26, 2012. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason. If you have any questions, please contact the Lac du Flambeau District Office at 715-588-3838 X 300.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Thursday, February 23rd!
Please plan to attend Parent Teachers Conferences for the 1st Semester Report on Thursday, Feb. 23rd.
Attention Parents of 1-4 graders:
During Conferences, Title I is hosting a video on the importance of family reading, and will have a special guest appearance by former Green Bay Packer Mark Tauscher! A $5 Book Fair coupon will be given to students whose parents attend, redeemable at the May Book Fair.

Official Warrior Wear Tops are available through Design Solutions on Hwy 51 S in Minocqua or call 715-358-2700.
Also, iron-on logo patches are available for $5 each through Melissa Doud. Call 715.892.3683. The patches can be placed on clothing you already own as long as it complies with the Dress Code. (They are not available for purchase through the school, only Ms. Doud.)

Phone App
Two new apps are now available in the Apple iTunes Store:PowerSchool for Parents and PowerSchool for Students!
These new apps will allow parents and students to access all the same information would normally access from a browser, but with the ease and convenience fo an app installed on their Apple Mobile Device.
Facebook and Twitter integration, automatic login, a family overview, simplied 'one-thumb' browsing, and other features amke accesing PowerSchool on the go faster and easier than ever before.
The apps are FREE and avialable for download from iTunes Store. Version 1.0 of the apps will be supported on any Apple iPod Touch, and iPad running iOS version 4.0 or higher.
