LdF Public School Tuesday Breakfast & Lunch 5 Day Meal Kits & Homework Pick Up With most of our students returning to in person learning for the 4th quarter starting on Tuesday, April 6, we will only be providing 5 day meal kits to those who request them. You can simply do this by contacting the Food Service Director, Donna Schneider by email at ldf@aviands.com or call 715-588-3838 Your email will need to include 4 easy answers. 1.) Name of Family 2..) How many students 18 years of age and under you are needing meals for. 3.) How many gallons of milk you need for the above students. 4.) If you would like to continue receiving the fresh fruit and vegetables that accompany the meals. We ask that you leave a good contact number in the event we have any questions. Emails need to be received the Wednesday before pick up to ensure ordering can be completed. Pick up dates will remain the same. Tuesdays when school is in session, between 9:30-11:00 am however your items will be held with your name on them in the area outside the school front office. Important Information to share with Lac du Flambeau School families: Yesterday the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a 4-3 decision held that Governor Evers exceeded the emergency powers provided to him under Wis. Stat. § 323.10 in issuing a state-wide mask mandate. The Court ruled, “…Executive Orders #82 and #90 – both of which declare a public health emergency in response to COVID-19 – were unlawful under Wis. Stat. § 323.10.” The ruling by the Supreme Court means the statewide mandate of mask wearing was unlawful. The decision by the Supreme Court does not affect local mask orders by counties, municipalities, or mandatory mask policies authorized by employers. LDF Mask requirement remains in effect--staff/students and visitors will continue to wear masks as required by tribal ordinance and county recommendations. Thank you for your continued cooperation and assistance in mitigating the spread of COVID 19 at this time.

This is a message from the Lac du Flambeau School District Boozhoo Families, Under the WI summer food program, A'viands Food Service and the Lac du Flambeau School continues to provide 5-day meal kits of breakfast and lunch items to anyone 18 and under in your household. For those eligible the meal kit is paired with fresh fruits, vegetables and milk. Meals may be picked up outside of the Lac du Flambeau Public school every Tuesday from 9:30 am -11:00 am. In the case of a school closing meals will be distributed the next scheduled school day. Also, if you have been contacted by your child's teacher that you have print material to pick up for your remote learner, today is the day! You can also drop off homework at this time. The location is by the school's fitness center. Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic we ask that you remain in your vehicles and our staff will bring food items to your vehicle.
