Lac du Flambeau School District Boozhoo Families, There will be no school on Friday, December 10 in order to accommodate the large number of students and staff that would like to attend the services for 1st grade student Derek Clause. This is a message from the Lac du Flambeau School District Dear Families, We are extremely saddened to inform you about a recent loss to our school community. On Friday, December 3, 1st grade student Derek Clause started his journey on to be with The Great Spirit. Derek has numerous siblings, uncles, aunts and cousins in the school community. Our LDF students in the Cultural Connections Class have finished their first smoked brain tanned hide of the school year. Our students will be using this hide to make tobacco pouches. We could always use a good deer hide and please don't throw them away. Chi miigwech to everyone who has donated deer hides to our program.
