They take donations and have affordable clothing and other items (resale items are $5 and under and they have more than just clothing!). Today's activity from the Tops Program (Team Outreach Program) at LDF School was an activity called the “Tallest Tower”. The goal of this activity was to facilitate teamwork, communication, problem-solving, persistence, and creativity. Using spaghetti noodles and marshmallows! All of the boxes were checked! Great teamwork students!

*For safety reasons with the number of people present in the building; students will be expected to return to their homeroom classes after the event and remain there until the end of the day as they clean up and collect their items to take home. Students will only be allowed to leave with their families directly following the concerts if arrangements have been made with the office prior to December 13th and students check out in the office the day of.

Lac du Flambeau Talk Show hosts Jackson, Kendall, Dallas, and Gavin present a series of three special episodes honoring LdF veterans Mr. Brian Jackson, Mr. Dan Thompson, and Mr. Marquis Johnson. Each episode begins with an introduction acknowledging the proud history of Native American service in the United States Military and previews the LdF Public School's Veterans Day Assembly, followed by an in-depth interview with each veteran. The Fall Harvest Celebration today with Zaasijiwan Head Start & Lac du Flambeau 4k students was a HUGE success! A special thank you to the families that attended and all of the staff & community that helped out and a Special Thank You to the Ojibwe Language Teachers and their interactive hunting presentation. Reuland's catering did an outstanding job as well...What a way to celebrate fall!
