I'm sure we've all heard of that famous quote that goes something like ..." A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself."
Today, Principal Fieck and the office staff learned that these three third-grade boys are BEST friends! The boys used their earned wow bucks to have lunch with Mr. Fieck. It was visible that these boys were enjoying their sloppy joes, orange slices & chocolate milk with total freedom and just being friends.

Good morning Warrior Families,
Attention Veterans-The Veterans Day assembly at LfF School is today, Monday, November 11th from 10:00 am -12:00 pm. (We are correcting misinformation sent out via a flyer from LUHS)
Also, today is an early release day for students. Buses depart school at 12:25 pm. Parent teacher conferences are from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. A meal will be served in the cafeteria from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm.

TONIGHT IS HALLOWEEN! But right now it's Halloween Parade Trick or Treat Time at LDF School!! Thank you LDF community!!
Holy Cow Batman! BAM, BONK, POW! Even Batman made an appearance today for the LDF School's Halloween Parade. Lac du Flambeau Community Departments are pictured waiting on the arrival of the trick-or-treaters from grades 4K-2nd grades. More student pictures to come! AND...thank you, LDF businesses, for bringing treats for the students!
Happy Halloween! Ms. Viola Swamp arrived at LDF School via her twin-engine brooms (needed to cut through the dark and dreary morning)! She visited classrooms from 4 K to 2nd grade. Students love this annual Halloween fun tradition! Ms. Viola is all about safety, she shows a short video, and shares important messages about trick or treating.
Warriors Families,
Today we lost power at 10:35 am at school and other locations in the community. Our back up generator is on and we are able to feed all student lunch. WPS estimates that power will be fully restored by 12:45 pm. At the this we plan on completing a full school day.
If you think for a minute, you can probably remember a teacher who had a positive impact on your life. That is what teachers do. They help children learn lessons that follow them for the rest of their lives. Today, Karlina BigJohn said she loves her 4th grade teacher Mrs. Klopatek. She said she would like to be a teacher when she grows up! Karlina enjoyed lunch in the principal's office. Enjoy your day!
The 4K Staff at Lac du Flambeau School would like to thank everyone who attended the 4K Pumpkin Jamboree this morning! This was a wonderful family event. Lots of pumpkin crafts were made and yummy snacks were enjoyed. More pics to come! Stay tuned. Have a great weekend!
