Dear Families,
Lac du Flambeau Public School is pleased to announce that we will begin using the Raptor Visitor Management System at our school starting Wednesday, January 3rd to strengthen our program of campus safety for students and faculty. Part of keeping students and faculty safe is knowing who is in our buildings at all times, and the Raptor system will allow us to do that. The Raptor system will better allow us to screen visitors, contractors, and volunteers in our schools and provide us with a safer environment for our students and staff.

Just some munchin' and lunchin' going on here in the principal's office on a Wednesday afternoon! And, cute questions from these two 3rd graders, (pictured left to right: Elias Tunney, Stevie Joiner, and Principal Ben Fieck)
One question: How tall are you Mr. Fieck? LOL! Again, both students saved up 250 WOW bucks for this brief luncheon date. The office staff did hear too, that both students were very organized with their cold lunch and hot lunch selections.

WHAT? Is this the Grinch having lunch with Mr. Fieck today? OH no, it's 2nd-grade student Jaxson Hagamon! Don't you love his warm and cozy Grinch Sweatshirt? Jaxson told the office staff that he saved over 250 WOW bucks just to have lunch in the principal's office. Per Mom, Jaxon was pretty excited! Love this magical time of year! Have a great day!

Dear Families,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you about a recent loss to our school community. On November 4, 2023 Lakeland Area Bus Service/LdF Public School’s long-time bus driver, Bob Manske passed away in his sleep. Mr. Manske drove our Green bus route for almost four years and recently was driving the double route of Green and White. We’re saddened by this loss to the Manske family as well as our school community. Please read the full letter here:
