On Friday, December 3, 1st grade student Derek Clause started his journey on to be with The Great Spirit. Derek has numerous siblings, uncles, aunts and cousins in the school community. Our LDF students in the Cultural Connections Class have finished their first smoked brain tanned hide of the school year. Our students will be using this hide to make tobacco pouches. We could always use a good deer hide and please don't throw them away. Chi miigwech to everyone who has donated deer hides to our program.
