Here are some Halloween guidelines from Lac du Flambeau Public School for the Halloween season that is coming up soon! If you plan on sending treats: Please know that no homemade treats are allowed from home. Pre-packaged store bought candy is ok. Nothing that contains nuts. Students should wash their hands/sanitize. Starting today we will no longer send emails & letters to families when we are notified of a positive COVID-19 case in our school district. The dashboard will have all the latest up to date COVID-19 information. To access the COVID-19 Dashboard go to www.ldfschool.org -----) Click on “Click Here For COVID-19 Updates & Resources.” The dashboard has the most current information on the total number of staff and students both in-person and remote, confirmed active positive cases, active cases as percent of total individuals, cumulative cases and cumulative cases as percent of total individuals. * An active case is a student or staff member with a confirmed positive COVID-19 test result who has not yet completed their 10 days of isolation. The Lac du Flambeau School District will continue with remote Fridays for all students during the 2nd Quarter. The remote Fridays provide an opportunity for teachers to plan for both remote and in-person learners for the upcoming week and also provide time for teachers to connect with remote learners. Attached is an updated school calendar, which includes the Remote Fridays for the second quarter for your planning purposes. Good morning, We are excited to announce that we have a new 24/7 outdoor material drop box at Lac du Flambeau Public School. The drop box is located on the sidewalk past the front entrance (see attached pictures). Please know that Home Remote Learning students can return completed print material assignments to our 24/7 outdoor secured drop box anytime. Materials can also be returned at our indoor secured drop box located in the front door lobby area Monday - Friday 6:15 am - 9:30 pm and Tuesday during the 5-day meal pick up time from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
